St.
Keverne Youth Band goes to Canada |
|
The St. Keverne Youth Band has been invited
perform at the Nova Scotia International Tattoo in 2001. Chris
Broscomb think it's big not just for St. Keverne or Cornwall but for British
Banding, "I don't know if they are a 'first' for this event but I am sure
that they will be brilliant ambassadors for Britain".
The obvious problem is funding the travel costs estimated at
this stage to be close to £25,000. To help raise the funds the band is keen to
hear from sponsors all over the UK.

we met and broadcast in real audio. Then in 1997 we
met and broadcast pictures as well as sounds. In 2000 we met to take part in the
Whit Friday Marches. |
